Summary
Authorizes the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to make grants for the purpose of financing the construction of facilities for congregate services in existing, newly constructed, and rehabilitated federally assisted housing projects for elderly and handicapped individuals and families. Directs the Secretary to designate appropriate members of the Public Health Service to provide health care and nutrition services to residents of such projects and to handicapped and elderly individuals and families residing in housing located in the immediate vicinity of such projects.
