Summary
Requires each Armed Forces medical facility and public and private medical facility receiving Federal financial assistance to establish policies to permit women undergoing childbirth at such facilities to be accompanied by the person of their choice. Permits the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of Health, Education, and Welfare, with respect to Armed Forces medical facilities and private and public medical facilities receiving Federal financial assistance, respectively, to authorize the imposition of restrictions on such attendance which are required for the protection of health.
