Summary

Prohibits the exploration for and the mining of and the purchase of all valuable mineral deposits within any area of the National Park System, subject to valid existing rights. Repeals specified laws which permit such mining in conflict with the priorities of this Act. Authorizes the Secretary of Interior to promulgate regulations he deems necessary for governing valid existing mining and exploration rights in any area of the National Park System.
