Summary
Energy Information Act - Authorizes the Administrator of the Federal Energy Office to collect energy information from all persons engaged in energy production, supply, or major consumption. Empowers the Administrator to require responses by such persons to requests for energy information. Authorizes the Administrator to conduct physical inspections at energy facilities to verify information received. States that such information shall be regarded as confidential.
