Summary

Hobbs Act Amendment - Prohibits the destruction, burning, or damaging of the property of an employer, or other person near any place where work or business of the employer is carried on. Subjects violators to a fine of not more than $10,000, imprisonment for not more than twenty years, or both. Redefines the term "extortion" to include actual or threatened force or violence used to induce consent in the course of a legitimate labor dispute. (Amends 18 U.S.C. 1951)
