Summary

Makes it unlawful for any party to a federally related mortgage transaction: (1) to discriminate on the basis of sex or marital status against any individual in connection with such transaction; or (2) to refuse to submit, omit from, or make false statements in any report with respect to one or more federally related mortgage transactions. Defines the terms used in this Act. States that every party to a federally related mortgage transaction shall submit to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development a report of any acts and functions performed by such party as a part of or in connection with such transaction. Specifies the content of such reports. Imposes civil and criminal liabilities on any party to a federally related mortgage transaction which discriminates on the basis of sex or marital status against any person in a credit transaction or in connection with an application for credit.
