Summary
Consumer Price Index for the Elderly Act - Provides for the monthly publication of a Consumer Price Index for the Elderly by the Bureau of Labor Statistics which shall be used in the provision of cost-of-living benefit increases authorized under title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act. Provides that in determining such benefits, the index will be used if it produces a higher benefit payment than the consumer Price Index.
