Summary
Establishes the Advisory Commission on Freight Rates for Farm Products to study the economic impact on the Nation's economy of charges for transportation by any means of farm products and whether all departments and agencies are carrying out national transportation policy regarding transportation of farm products. Authorizes necessary appropriations to carry out this Act. Terminates the commission 90 days after the issuance of its report on such study. Prohibits any common carrier by railroad, subject to the Interstate Commerce Act, from increasing any rate for transportation of grain in bulk until one year after the commission submits its report.
