Summary
Provides that if the holiday for a Federal employee occurs on a Saturday, the head of the department or person responsible for administering the employee's schedule shall designate, at least a week in advance, either that Saturday, the Friday preceding that Saturday, or the regular weekly workday administratively scheduled for the employee immediately following the holiday (which occurs on the regular weekly nonworkday) as the legal public holiday for the employee. (Amends 5 U.S.C. 6103 (b)(2))
