Summary

Provides that the Secretary of the Interior shall permit the National Committee of American Airmen Rescued by General Mihailovich to construct and maintain a monument to General Draza Mihailovich, in recognition of the role he played in saving the lives of approximately 500 United States airmen in Yugoslavia during World War II. Directs that the monument shall be located on public land within the District of Columbia, according to plans approved by the National Capital Planning Commission, the Fine Arts Commission, and the Secretary. Provides that private funds shall be the sole source for the construction and maintenance of such monument.
