Summary

Directs the Secretary of the Treasury, in recognition of the 1980 winter Olympic games, to be held at Lake Placid, New York, to coin and issue 50-cent pieces of standard size, weight, and composition, except that each piece shall be a clad coin as defined in the Coinage Act of 1965. Directs the Secretary to distribute such pieces at a price, not to exceed ten dollars per piece, determined by the Secretary.
