Summary
Sets forth a new formula under the Social Security Act by which the amount of the Federal payment to States is to be computed under Title I ( Grants to States for Old-Age Assistance and Medical Assistance for the Aged), Title X (Grants to States for Aid to the Blind), Title XIV (Grants to States for Aid to the Permanently and Totally Disabled), Title XVI (Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled), and the Aid to families of Dependent Children program of Title IV. Provides that no such Federal payment shall be less than 50 percent nor more than 83 percent of the cost of such program.
