Summary

States that whoever during the commission of any robbery, assault, rape, burglary, kidnapping, or homicide (other than involuntary manslaughter), uses any firearm which has been transported in interstate and foreign commerce shall be imprisoned for not less than ten years in the case of his first offense and for not less than twenty-five years in the case of his second or subsequent offense. Provides that the execution or imposition of any term of imprisonment imposed by this Act may not be suspended, and probation may not be granted. Provides that any term of imprisonment imposed under this Act may not run concurrently with any term of imprisonment imposed for the commission of any such offense.
