Summary
Authorizes the payment of interest on reimbursements to States authorized by the Federal Water Pollution Control Act for a publicly owned treatment works in a State on which construction was initiated after June 30, 1966, but before July 1, 1972. Authorizes the appropriation of not more than $2,000,000,000 to make the interest payments authorized by this Act. Authorizes the appropriation of not more than $750,000,000 from which reimbursements for publicly owned treatment works construction initiated between June 30, 1956 and June 30, 1966 are to be made as provided by the Federal Water Pollution Control Act.
