Summary
Public Accountability Act - Defines the terms used in this Act. States that, upon written request by any individual, any public agency or nonprofit institution which receives, directly or indirectly, any money from the United States shall promptly make available to such individual for inspection and copying all records in its possession or under its control which relate to the receipt and expenditure of such money. Specifies the matters to which this Act does not apply. Confers jurisdiction to order the production of records improperly withheld from a complainant on the United States district courts.
