Summary
Provides that new construction of major combatant vessels for the strike forces of the United States Navy authorized subsequent to the date this Act becomes law shall be nuclear powered. Sets forth the minimum number of nuclear powered major combatant vessels which the Department of Defense shall include in its annual naval shipbuilding request. Prescribes reporting requirements with respect to the provisions of this Act.
