Summary
Mining and Mineral Resources Research Institute Amendments of 1993 - Amends the Mining and Mineral Resources Research Institute Act of 1984 to extend through FY 1999 the authorizations for: (1) State allotment grants for mining and mineral resources research institutes; (2) mineral research and demonstration projects; and (3) administrative expenses associated with such institutes and projects. Directs the Committee on Mining and Mineral Resources to report to certain congressional committees on the activities and continued eligibility of mining and mineral resources research institutes, and the generic mineral technology centers. Directs the Secretary of the Interior to establish generic mineral technology centers for: (1) mine health and safety; and (2) metallic/non-metallic reclamation.
