Summary
Repeals the National Flood Insurance Act of 1968 and the Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973, effective six months after the enactment of this Act. Directs the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development to prescribe rules for implementing such repeal, including provisions for the refund of any charges assessed persons for periods for which insurance has been made available under the National Insurance Act of 1968 and which extend beyond the date on which such insurance is no longer effective as a result of this Act.
