Summary

Social Security Disabled Widow's and Widower's Equity Act of 1991 - Amends title II (Old Age, Survivors and Disability Insurance) of the Social Security Act to: (1) provide full widow's or widower's insurance benefits to disabled widows or widowers without regard to age; and (2) extend the time period during which a surviving spouse or divorced spouse must have initially become disabled in order to qualify for widow's or widower's insurance benefits before reaching age 60 in cases where such surviving spouse or divorced spouse has quarters of coverage based on his or her own work after the death of the insured individual upon whose wages such benefits are based.
