Summary
Tear Gas Safety Act - Prohibits the introduction, or manufacture for introduction, into interstate commerce of tear gas, except in connection with legitimate Federal or State government activities. States that the Postal Service may require, as a condition of conveying tear gas in the mails, that any person proposing to mail tear gas explain in writing to the satisfaction of the Postal Service that such mailing will not be in violation of this Act.
