To provide compensation for loss of use of, and improvements to, certain lands in Alaska.

Summary

Directs the Secretary of the Interior to pay compensation to a person for the loss of income derived from guiding and the loss of improvements used primarily for guiding resulting from the closing to sport hunting of National Park System guide areas in Alaska. Specifies the conditions a person must satisfy to be eligible for such compensation. Establishes the Sport Hunting Guide Compensation Account. Authorizes appropriations. Directs the Secretary to pay compensation to an eligible person from such account not later than one year after the date the Secretary receives such person's application for compensation. Provides that the amount of compensation to be paid for the loss of income shall be equal to one dollar for each acre in which sport hunting is prohibited and that compensation for a loss of improvements shall be equal to the cost to the applicant of constructing such improvement as determined by agreement between the applicant and the Secretary.
