Summary
Prohibits assistance under the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to any recipient who, being responsible for the hiring of the driver of any schoolbus, shall have failed to institute procedures assuring that: (1) available records concerning such driver's past criminal behavior, especially as it pertains to crimes against children, have been examined prior to the hiring of such driver; and (2) a Federal Bureau of Investigation fingerprint check has been made with respect to such driver in order to obtain such records. (Amends 20 U.S.C. 887)
