Summary

Requires $1,000,000 of the Iranian assets blocked by the President to vest in the United States for each American hostage for each day such hostage is held by Iran after a specified date. Prohibits the President from returning any of the vested amount to Iran. Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to deposit such vested amount in a special fund in the Treasury. Entitles each hostage and the family of each hostage to a certain amount of compensation from the funds.
