Summary

Imported Products and Commodities Safety Act of 1987 - Title I: Imported Meat and Poultry Products - Directs the Secretary of Agriculture to submit a report to the Congress about the Department of Agriculture's resources for sampling and enforcement methods regarding pesticide and drug residues in imported meat and poultry products. Title II: Imported Raw Agricultural Commodities - Directs the Secretary of Health and Human Services to prepare a plan specifying the Food and Drug Administration's resources for sampling and enforcement methods (including district data sharing) regarding pesticide residues in imported raw agricultural commodities. Requires the Secretary to: (1) prepare a fiscal year commodity import monitoring summary; and (2) submit an annual enforcement report to the appropriate congressional committees.
