Summary
Directs the Secretary of Labor, through the Bureau of Labor Statistics, to conduct a study regarding the establishment and use of a consumer price index for older persons. Directs the Secretary to consult with specified officials to determine what actions may be necessary to use such index in specified provisions of Federal law with regard to older individuals. Requires the Secretary to report on such study, with recommendations, to the Congress within 180 days after the enactment of this Act.
