Summary

Limits the total number of imports of Japanese motor vehicles to 17 percent of the domestic consumption of new passenger motor vehicles during the immediately preceding calendar year. Terminates such limitation if a law is enacted after the date of enactment of this Act that: (1) contains a statement that the Congress finds that Japan has extended equitable access to Japan's markets to specified U.S. goods and services; and (2) repeals such limitation.
