Summary

Amends the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 to provide a limited exemption from child labor provisions for students under 14 who have completed the sixth grade and are participating in a work study program conforming to criteria prescribed by the Secretary of Labor acting through the Administrator of the Wage and Hours Division. Limits such employment to not more than four hours per week and 16 weeks in a school year.
