Summary
Financial Privacy Act Amendments of 1999 - Amends the Right to Financial Privacy Act of 1978 to permit financial institution personnel to report to Federal, State, or local law enforcement entities, or to government-regulated adult protective services entities, suspected financial exploitation of an older or disabled individual. Shields such informants from liability to the customer for the disclosure. Includes within the definition of "exploitation" the unauthorized use of an older or disabled individual's funds, property, or resources for another's profit or advantage.
