Summary

TVA 2000 Regional Commission Act - Establishes the TVA 2000 Regional Commission to conduct a comprehensive legal and factual study of the navigational, flood control, economic development, recreational, and economic impacts of the future structure, competitiveness, and financial viability of the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) on: (1) Federal, State and local governments; and (2) communities, citizens, businesses, and the environment within the TVA region. Authorizes appropriations. Terminates the Commission 60 days after the Commission submits the report required under this Act.
