Summary
Heated Bridge Technology Assessment Act - Directs the Secretary of Transportation to assess the State of technology with respect to the feasibility of heating the decks of bridges. Requires that not less than 25 bridges which are being replaced or rehabilitated and that are located in geographically diverse regions of the United States be outfitted with such heating equipment. Limits the Federal share of the cost for installation of such equipment to 80 percent. Requires the Secretary to transmit to the Congress a report on the results of the assessment program. Authorizes funds for FY 1992 through 1996.
