A bill to provide that a finding of permanent and total disability under title II or XVI of the Social Security Act, chapter 13 or 15 of title 38, United States Code, or the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937 will be considered as a finding of disability under any of such programs.

Summary

Amends Title II (Old-Age, Survivors, and Disability Insurance), Title XVI (Supplemental Security Income for the Aged, Blind, and Disabled) of the Social Security Act and the Railroad Retirement Act of 1937 to provide that whenever an individual is determined to be permanently and totally disabled for the purpose of establishing eligibility for benefits under such Acts or for purposes of Veteran's benefits such determination shall be considered as a finding of disability under any of such programs.
