Summary

Amends the Legal Services Corporation Act to require the Legal Services Corporation, within 120 days after it receives allegations of improper conduct by a grantee, contractor, or person receiving financial assistance under the Act, to investigate and determine whether a hearing is warranted (as required by law) with respect to denials of financial assistance. Requires such a hearing to be held within 30 days after a request is made. Requires the hearing examiner to make his or her decision within 35 days after the hearing commences. Grants the Corporation 30 days after the hearing examiner's decision to render a final decision.
