Summary
Unemployment Assistance Act - Provides increased unemployment benefits under the Emergency Jobs and Unemployment Assistance Act of 1974. Specifies that such benefits shall be equal to two-thirds of such eligible individual's weekly wages, but not to exceed wages of $300 per week. Defines eligible individuals as those eligible for unemployment benefits under approved State law or the Emergency Jobs and Unemployment Assistance Act or other provisions of Federal law. Declares such increased unemployment benefits shall commence in an area and continue until for a period of three consecutive months the rate of unemployment averages less than 4 percent.
