Summary

Authorizes the Secretary of Transportation to carry out a feasibility study to improve the safety, capacity, and operational characteristics of the Theodore Roosevelt Bridge on I-66 connecting Virginia and the District of Columbia. Requires a report to the Congress within six months of enactment of this Act. Requires the study to: (1) ensure the maintenance of a bicycle and pedestrian path; and (2) investigate the feasibility of altering the entrance and exit ramps on both the Virginia and District of Columbia sides of the bridge. Authorizes the Secretary to conduct a construction project on such bridge if the study finds it feasible. Authorizes appropriations out of the Highway Trust Fund.
