Summary

Civil Service Retirement System Actuarial Redeposit Act of 1997 - Amends Federal law with respect to civil service retirement to expand the class of individuals (who have received refunds of retirement deductions under any civil service retirement system covering service for which such individuals may be allowed credit) eligible to elect the option under which the deposit which is normally required in connection with a refund previously taken may be made up through an actuarially equivalent annuity reduction.
