Summary
Spent Nuclear Fuel Act of 1979 - Amends the Atomic Energy Act to authorize the Secretary of Energy to enter into contracts to provide for storage and ultimate disposal of spent nuclear fuel. Authorizes the Secretary to establish the Spent Fuel Storage and Disposal Fund to be used to finance activities relating to the storage and disposal of spent nuclear fuel.
