Summary

Amends the Tariff Schedules of the United States to impose the column two rate of tariff duty on: (1) each steel mill products import if the quantity of such imports exceeds 14 percent of the apparent steel supply; and (2) iron ore if the quantity of iron ore imported exceeds 15 percent of the total consumed. Directs the Secretary of Commerce to determine whether such percentages have been reached. Increases the column two rate of duty on iron ore to ten percent ad valorem.
