Summary

United States Marshals Service Improvement Act of 1995 - Amends the Federal judicial code to provide for the appointment of U.S. marshals for each judicial district of the United States and for the Superior Court of the District of Columbia by the Director of the United States Marshals Service (currrently, by the President). Requires U.S. marshals to be appointed subject to Federal law governing appointments in the competitive civil service and to be paid in accordance with specified Federal provisions regarding classification and pay rates. Repeals provisions regarding term of office and vacancies. Sets forth transitional provisions.
