Summary
Amends the National Narcotics Leadership Act of 1988 to require (current law authorizes) the Director of National Drug Control Policy to: (1) designate high intensity drug trafficking areas; and (2) direct the temporary reassignment of Federal personnel from specified Federal agencies to such areas, provide increased Federal assistance to such areas, and coordinate actions with State and local officials. Specifies cities and counties to be included in such designation.
