Summary
Child Abuse Programs, Adoption Opportunities and Family Violence Prevention Extension Act of 1991 - Amends the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment Act to extend through FY 1992 the authorization of appropriations for programs in general under title I. Provides for a separate authorization of appropriations for FY 1992 for the Advisory Board on Child Abuse and Neglect, if the amount appropriated for title I programs in general for FY 1992 exceeds that for FY 1991. Extends through FY 1992 the authorization of appropriations for grants to States under title II (Grants with Respect to Encouraging States to Maintain Certain Funding Mechanisms) of such Act. Amends the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment and Adoption Reform Act of 1978 to extend through FY 1992 the authorization of appropriations for certain programs relating to adoption opportunities. Amends the Family Violence Prevention and Services Act to extend through FY 1992 the authorization of appropriations for its programs.
