Summary

Directs the Secretary of Labor, through the Bureau of Labor Statistics, to prepare and publish a monthly Consumer Price Index for the Elderly. Directs the Secretary to study and investigate any legislative or administrative action necessary for the utilization of the Consumer Price Index for the Elderly in any of the retirement or disability programs administered by the Federal Government. Directs the Secretary, within 90 days of the enactment of this Act, to transmit to the Congress a report on such study and investigation.
