Summary

Steel Import Stabilization Enhancement Act - Extends the Steel Import Stabilization Act for a five-year period. Declares that nothing in this Act may be construed to prohibit the Secretary of Commerce from permitting the importation of additional quantities of specific steel products in cases where the Secretary determines that conditions of short supply or emergency economic situations related to market demand exist. Provides for short supply requests. Declares that the Secretary shall not permit the importation of additional steel products with respect to any product covered by a bilateral arrangement if any imports of such product under such arrangement are made available solely to a particular domestic company.
