Visual Artists Moral Rights Amendment of 1979 - Gives the author of a pictorial, graphic, or sculptural work, or the author's legal representative, the right to claim authorship of such work independently of his or her copyright, and to object to any distortion or alteration thereof, and to enforce any other limitation recorded in the Copyright Office that would prevent prejudice to the author's honor or reputation during the copyright term.
