Summary
$100 Federal Reserve Note Redesign and Exchange Act of 1989 - Directs the Secretary of the Treasury to retire all circulating Federal Reserve Notes in the denomination of $100 and to exchange them with newly issued, redesigned notes. Mandates that the name, address, and social security number of any holder who exchanges such notes in the value of $5,000 or more be forwarded by the Secretary to law enforcement agencies for use in criminal investigation or prosecution.
