Summary
States that the Secretary of the Interior may provide funds not to exceed fifty percent of the cost of converting existing open canals in, or adjacent to, urban areas to closed conduits or providing for safety fencing of large canals in or adjacent to urban areas. Authorizes to be appropriated such sums as may be necessary to carry out the provisions of this Act.
