Summary
Defines the term "military service" for the purpose of civil service retirement to include active duty for training in the National Guard while receiving Federal pay and allowances, whether in the course of active duty in the service of the United States or otherwise. (Amends 5 U.S.C. 8331(13)) Provides for crediting service under the Civil Service Retirement Act for service by National Guard technicians. (Amends 5 U.S.C. 8332(b), 8334(c), 8339(e))
