Summary

Reclassifies the positions of United States Border Patrol agents in recognition of their unique responsibilities. Advances agents presently employed at levels of GS-5, GS-7, and GS-9 to levels of GS-7, GS-9, and GS-11, respectively. Classifies agents who, on a regular basis, may be responsible for identifying and questioning persons suspected of violating immigration and nationality laws at a GS-12 level. Classifies agents who are responsible for the operation and coordination of intelligence programs and for providing certain advance intelligence information at the GS-13 level.
