Summary

States that the Chief of the Dental Corps of the Army is responsible for making and implementing recommendations to the Secretary of the Army on all matters concerning the dental health of the Army. Requires the Chief of the Dental Corps: (1) to provide the Secretary of the Army with recommendations and advice concerning the professional standards and policies for dental practice in the Army; (2) to initiate and recommend action pertaining to the Dental Corps and auxiliary strength; and (3) to serve as Chief Administrator within the Army Medical Department on all matters relating directly to dentistry. Directs the Secretary of the Army to provide by regulation for the organization of the Dental Service throughout the Army. Establishes a Dental Service in the Air Force. Sets forth the duties and responsibilities of the Chief of Dental Service of the Air Force. Directs the Secretary of the Air Force by regulation to provide for the organization of the Dental Service throughout the Air Force.
