Summary
Native American University Act of 1991 - Establishes a Native American University to provide a program of undergraduate and graduate education for Native American youth in the arts and sciences. Directs the Secretary of the Interior, with the consent of the University's Board, to designate a site or an appropriate land area for the establishment of the University. Provides that such site shall be held in trust by the Secretary for American Indians, Alaskan Natives, and Native Hawaiians. Authorizes appropriations. Requires the University to establish and operate a study program on Native American culture and the care and management of Native Americans by the U.S. Government (including the care and allotment of Indian lands).
