Summary

Sunshine Act Amendments of 1978 - Requires any Federal agency which conducts proceedings regarding the regulation of financial institutions to keep a public file of agency findings and recommendations at each major stage of any proceeding on the application for a bank or savings and loan charter, branch, or insurance for a State-chartered savings and loan association or branch. Prohibits inclusion of any confidential or privileged information in such public file. Prohibits ex parte communications between persons outside such agency and persons involved in the decisional process of such proceeding.
